Charles MACAIRE

Charlot & Cie is a small and friendly family business created in 2004 by Charles Macaire. It applies certain folding and crumpling processes developed by the CRIMP (paper folders' collective) to elaborate its craft and artistic creations. It is a member of the Ateliers d'Art de France since 2005.
By playing with papers, densities of folds, light, tints, Charlot & Cie wishes works as light, dreamy and dreamy as robust and durable.
Part of Charlot & Cie's production is dedicated to collections of lighting and decorative objects. These collections are articulated around themes: Aquatic, Bells, Minerals... Another part is dedicated to the realization of objects and decorations of exception.
